Also, it has two USB ports on it so you could attach a real mouse (makes Sibelius even easier then the touchpad mouse on your MacBook). Also, if you are worried about spilling on your keyboard, it is good to have an external keypad so you don't destroy your laptop (always have the coffee by my workspace). And while it certainly duplicates the whole keyboard you already have on your laptop, it will allow you to put it wherever you want it on your desk (I have a multi-level desk so I have the keyboard on the sliding level of my desk). This works also with the wireless Apple keyboard (and any keyboard without the number keypad, I guess).
So it is really well suited for Sibelius. It not only has the numeric keypad as well as a number of navigational keys such as 'End', 'Home', 'Page Up', 'Page Down', etc. I find the best external keyboard for input into sibelius is actually the Apple keyboard.
